05/31/2007. This aircraft was built as a C-60A-LO under the USAAF s/n 42-32186, and was intended for delivery to the RAF (s/n FK266 being allocated), but it was retained by the USAAF. Struck off charge it was sold and registered as N500W and later as N510RA.

In 1961 it was converted to a Howard 250 by fitting elongated nose and tail sections, large rectangular windows and a luxe interior. Registered as 250JR this aircraft was flown for the first time after its conversion in October 1961.

Since 1988 it is owned by Wiley Sanders and is wearing the livery of an USN R5O-4.
