05/31/2007. Built as a Model 382B, designated L-100 and registered as N9258R, this freighter was delivered to Delta in September 1966. In October 1968 it was converted to a Model 382F, designated L-100-20, by inserting a 5 ft (1.52 m) fuselage plug forward of the wing and a 3 ft 4 in (1.02 m) aft. It was sold to Pacific Western Airlines of Canada and registered CF-PWK in November 1973. From April 1980 it was leased to Northwest Territorial Airways and reregistered C-FPWK; it was destroyed in a ground fire at Paulatuk, Northwest Territory, on April 11, 1980. |
