Points to note on these very early Halifaxes are the wavy camouflage demarcartion line half way up the fuselage, the lack of a teardrop observation blister on the side of the nose, aileron mass balances on the lower surface and Handley-Page slats on the leading edge - all of which were quickly changed on following variants."
