Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This is the 489th DC-10/MD-11 built and was delivered to the US airline Delta Airlines of Atlanta, Georgia, on May 6, 1992 registered N804DE with fleet number 804. It was sold to an insurance company the same day and leased back to Delta. It was then leased to World Airways of Peachtree, Georgia, in November 2003. This MD-11 was purchased by the US cargo airline United Parcel Service (UPS) in July 2006 and they are expected to operate it when World's lease expires in 2008." |
