02/28/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was the 2,165th DC-9/MD-80/MD-90 built and was registered N6203U by McDonnell Douglas. It was delivered to KTHY - Cyprus Turkish Airline located in northern Cyprus on March 29, 1997 registered TC-KTB. Returned to McDonnell Douglas on November 10, 1997, it was withdrawn from use and stored at Marana Airport, Marana, California, USA. Reregistered N5535MD in April 1998, it was sold to a Boeing leasing company on July 13, 1998 and immediately leased to THY - Turkish Airlines of Istanbul, Turkey, and reregistered TC-JHB; it was returned to Boeing on December 3, 1998 and again stored at Marana Airport.

Sold to a Boeing leasing subsidiary on May 3, 1999, it was leased to the AMC Aviation Maintenance Co. of Egypt in August 1999 and reregistered SU-BMS. Returned to the leasing company in December 2001, it was stored at Hannover, Germany. Reregistered N744BC on March 13, 2002, it was placed in storage at Victorville, California. The MD-90 was leased or sold to the Swiss charter airline Hello of Basel, reregistered HB-JIB and then sub-leased to British Jet of Malta."
