06/30/2008. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This is the second C-5A-LM delivered and is shown in Military Airlift Command (MAC) markings with a test boom extending from its nose. Its last assignment was with the 337th Airlift Squadron, 439th Operations Group, 439th Airlift Wing, Twenty Second Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command based at Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, Massachusetts This aircraft was transferred to the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, Arizona, on May 11, 2004. At that time, it was the oldest C-5A in service with the USAF."
