11/30/2011. One of a batch of 65 aircraft (s/n K2966 to K3030) built by Vickers (Aviation) Ltd. under contract 198868/32, this aircraft was loaned to the RCAF from January 7, 1937 till June 8, 1939. It was used for winter trials by the Test Flight at RCAF Station Rockcliffe, Ontario, where it was involved in an accident when the landing gear collapsed on landing on January 28, 1938. It was repaired and returned to service until it was returned to the UK, after which it became an instructional airframe, numbered 2026M.
