Allan Routt has been interested in the history of Wright Field and the Fairfield Air Depot since living in the Skyway Park model wartime housing complex for families of military and civilian workers at Wright-Patterson AFB headquarters. Some of the photos in Allan's collection have been obtained from the granddaughter of Joe Steele who was stationed at Fairfield Air International Depot in the 1920s. |
