OKAYED BY USA.--New Lockheed-Azcarate Model 60 utility airplane now has USA stamp of approval with receipt of Federal Aviation Agency type certificate. The new Model 60, designed by Lockheed, will carry up to six persons or about 1,000 lb (2,722 kg) of cargo. It is quickly convertible to aerial ambulance or agricultural usage. The rugged new plane will go into production in June at the new San Luis Potosi factory of Lockheed-Azcarate in Mexico. It will also be built in Italy by Aeronautica Macchi.
