SMALLEST PRACTICAL AIRPLANE
DAYTON, OHIO....What Air Service officials here says is the smallest practical airplane in the world is the 'Hummer', built and flown by Bert Mix, an aircraft mechanic. It only weighs 228 pounds, has a wing spread of but twelve feet, does 75 miles an hour, and makes about fifty miles on a gallon of gas.
(The weight of 228 lb is crossed as incorrect.)
