Soliani: "One of the most famous Italian aircraft of all
time, designed by Umberto Savoia and Rodolfo Verduzio (hence SVA =
Savoia, Verduzio, Ansaldo). Production started in 1917 and ended in
1928, after 2000 (including all versions) had been built. Users
were Argentina, Brazil, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the
Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Russia, Spain and the USA.
