Remarks by Carlo Soliani: "This two-seater trainer, widely used by Regia Aeronautica in the period 1932-1943, was produced by Officine Meccaniche di Savigliano Breda, CNA and SAI. Next to Italy, where 700 were used in the period 1932-1945, the type was sold to Afghanistan (6), Bolivia (6), Equador (3), Hungary (3) and Paraguay (4). After the closure of Gabardini Flying School, the Regia Aeronautica organized its own Flying School at Cameri (April 15, 1936 - May 21, 1940). The aircraft depicted in the photo were in force just with Regia Aeronautica Cameri Flying School (hence the letters CAM on the fuselage). They are equipped with Isotta Fraschini "Semi-Asso" 200 six cylinders, air cooled in-line type engine. Standard Breda 25 were equipped with single row, air-cooled radials of various types."
