03/31/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was the second Tudor, and first Tudor Mk.II built. It made its first flight on March 10, 1946 and crashed on take off from Manchester Woodford Airfield, 11.5 miles (18,5 kilometers) south of Manchester, Lancashire, England, on August 23, 1947."
07/14/2003. Remarks by Chris Pinn: "This is the aircraft in which Roy Chadwick was killed. He is best remembered as the designer of the Avro Lancaster. The aircraft crashed on a test flight just after take off from Woodford Airport on August 23rd 1947. Chadwick had decided to accompany the crew on the flight. The cause was attributed to aileron controls which were reversed during work carried out on the aircraft the previous night."
