04/30/2009. Remarks by Ray Watkins: "The S.E.3110 was a development of the S.E.3101 which retained the twin anti-torque rotors but had an enclosed cabin with two side-by-side seats and a tubular tail boom. Power was provided by a 200 hp Salmson 9 NH radial engine.
The first of two prototypes (F-WFUD c/n 01) flew on June 10, 1950. After receiving their CofA both aircraft were reregistered to F-BFUD and F-BFUE respectively."
