07/07/2007. Manufactured in 1969, this helicopter was written off on July 5, 1975. In a climb after take off on a local sightseeing flight a tail boom attach bolt failed and the pilot made a forced landing on water near San Francisco, California. The helicopter subsequently rolled over but the pilot nor the two passengers were injuried. |
