Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This F-15A-19-MC is shown in the markings of the 9th Tactical Fighter Squadron assigned to the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing, 833d Air Division, Twelfth Air Force, Tactical Air Command. On November 1, 1991, the squadron was redesignated 9th Fighter Squadron and was assigned to the 49th Operations Group, 49th Fighter Wing, Twelfth Air Force, Air Combat Command. In June 1992, the squadron transitioned to F-4Es. During this entire period, the squadron was based at Holloman AFB, Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA."
