Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This memorial commemorates the valiant efforts of the Ferry Command Pilots during the 2nd World War. The aircraft mounted on the memorial is an actual Hudson Bomber.
Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was ordered by the USAAF as a 414-56-03 A-29-LO Hudson, s/n 41-23631, and was transferred to the RAF under Lend-Lease. For the memorial it was painted as a Hudson Mk.III, RAF s/n T9422, one of the aircraft of the first ferry flight on Novenber 10, 1940."
