12/22/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was ordered by the USAAF as an A-29-LO, serial number 41-23546, for delivery to the RAF under Lend-Lease. The aircraft was delivered to the RAF in Canada on January 30, 1942 with RAF s/n BW684. After the war, it was sold to Arctic Airlines of Edmonton, Alberta, registered CF-ESK and used for aerial survey and photographic work. This 414 was put up for sale in 1951 and subsequently sold in the USA where it was registered N4933V. It was probably scrapped in 1961 and its registration was canceled on June 5, 1965."

01/10/2006. Remarks by Trevor McTavish: "My grandfather Gerry Stauffer flew as co-pilot on this machine back in the late 1940s. They were doing photo-survey from Edmonton to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, at 32,000 ft (9,754 m)."
