The following text from Aviation Week is not to the mockup pictured:
10/10/1966. Grumman Gulfstream II, a corporate jet with non-stop coast-to-coast range, made its first flight from Bethpage, New York, USA, last week. The 30-passenger transport is slightly larger than Gulfstream 1 and has a top speed of 585 mph (941 kmh). It is priced about $2 million. A second Gulfstream 2 will roll off Grumman's production lines in December. FAA certification is scheduled for next May, with customer deliveries starting the same month. The company will produce two a month beginning next August.
