MacPhail: "One of two NA-64 Yales that came out of the
Ernie Simmons auction. Gord Saylor of Southern Ontario rebuilt both
of them. When the two aircraft were complete, in late 1990, Gord was
the only man in Canada to own and operate a pair of Yales."

Aircraft Serial Numbers: "3372 was taken on strength August 30, 1940,
struck off to War Assets for sale on September 25, 1946. Served with
No. 1 Service Flying Training School at Camp Borden, Ontario. Had
3270:20 airframe time when struck off. Sold to Ernie Simmons of
Tillsonburg, Ontario, still in open storage on his farm when
auctioned in 1970. Later to civil register as C-FGIR, owned by Murray
Kot, Orangeville, Ontario, September 1994 to September 1995. Sold to
661886 Alberta Ltd., Welland, Ontario, 1995-2001. Now on static
display at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Mount Hope, Ontario."
