After a lengthy time in the Mystery Plane section of the web site, Dan Hagedorn of the NASM has identified this plane as a Lanzius L II variable incidence biplane. The Aerofiles states that a single example of this aircraft, powered by a 350 hp Packard engine went to the USAAS for evaluation as 40034. |
