04/02/2005. Remarks by Nico Braas: "The Wallace was a succesful light bomber, produced in numbers for the RAF. The Wallace Mk.I had a open cockpit. The Wallace Mk.II had a fully enclosed cockpit, both for pilot and observer/gunner. Three Wallace Mk.I's (K4346-K4348) were later converted to Mk.II standards, including the closed canopy. On the photo, we see one of these."
