Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This Boeing helicopter (the 'Vertol' part was dropped from the company name in 1987) was built in 1998 as a Chinook HC.Mk.2, and was flown with the temporary registration N2034K. Serialed ZH895 it was delivered to the RAF No. 27 Squadron on September 3, 1998. Since it has been modified to a HC.Mk.2A and in 2011, while operated by No. 18 Squadron, it received the shown special markings to commemorate thirty years of Chinook service with the RAF."
