12/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced in 1963 as an OV-1B battlefield reconnaissance aircraft for the US Army (s/n 62-5889), fitted with SLAR (side-looking radar). In 1972 it was modified to an OV-1D, using either SLAR or infra-red systems for reconnaissance, while in 1986 it was converted to a RV-1D ELINT (electronic intelligence) surveillance platform. It was registered to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum at Addison, Texas, on October 17, 2005."
