Delivered to the USAAF as C-47A-5-DK Skytrain, s/n 42-92454, in 1944, and subsequently transferred to the RAF, s/n FZ671 and designated Dakota Mk.III.
After WW II it was transferred to the RCAF where it was also used by the Instrument Check Pilot School. On July 26, 1970 it was redesignated CC-129 and reserialed 12944 and was one of the last DakotAs struck off charge on April 14, 1989.
The aircraft is now on display at Canadian Forces Base Comox, British Columbia, Canada.
