Canadair CL-30 T-33AN Silver Star Mk.3

06/18/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built as a T-33AN the aircraft was taken on strength by the RCAF on December 2, 1953, s/n 21118. Redesignated CT-133 in 1968, it did not receive a new serial and was struck off charge on October 31, 1970. In February 1977 it was registered to Flight Systems Inc. of Mojave, California, USA as N99192, being deregistered in 1988. Between March 1989 and 1992 it was registered to T-Bird Aviation, Mojave, California.

On April 4, 1995 it was registered to Blossom Company, Wilmington, Delaware, and it still is of this day, although the aircraft has been destroyed. It crashed near Santa Clarita eight minutes after take off from Van Nuys on November 2, 2003; the pilot, Dr. Dan Lavigna of Tarzana was killed."
