01/31/2008. Designed by Milton Colden, this single-seat twin-boom pusher aircraft was constructed at Colden's Auto Body Shop, Clintonville, Wisconsin. The unconventional layout of the MWP (mid-wing pusher) provided an unusually good view from the open cockpit.

Flown for the first time on September 26, 1961, it proved successful apart from the fact winter conditions in Wisconsin required an enclosed cockpit. That would be a feature of a two-seat successor that apparently has never materialized. However, the MWP C1 is still at the register as of this day, although with the remark "sale reported" and status "in question".
