Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Allotted the German test registration D-CDXN this aircraft was first flown in 1997 and reregistered D-CPRU the manufacturer leased the aircraft to Minerva Airlines of Trieste, Italy on September 10, 1997. On November 4, 2004 the aircraft was leased to City Star Airlines (CSA) of Aberdeen, Scotland, operating under the Air Operator's Certificate of Landsflug in Iceland. Still registered D-CPRU, CSA subleased the aircraft to Suckling Airways of Cambridge, UK, on January 3, 2005. Just two months later, March 10, 2005, the aircraft came on the Icelandic register as TF-CSA, listed operated was CSA.
Subsequently the aircraft returned to the German manufacturer and was stored, the registration D-CIRQ was allotted, but not taken up it was cancelled October 15, 2009.
On October 27, 2009, the aircraft was registered to Sierra Nevada Corporation in the US as N391EF and modified to a C-146A Wolfhound it was registered to the USAF SOC on January 9, 2011. It is assigned to the 524th Special Operations Squadron of the 27th Special Operations Wing. The tail code seen on this aircraft, 73091, is the construction number with a '7' as prefix."
