08/31/2014. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "The Foxtrot 4 (early aircraft were registered as just Foxtrot) was announced by Team Tango (formerly DFL Holdings) in 1998. It was more or less a larger four-seat development of the Tango. The construction of a prototype aircraft (N747F), with a 260 hp Lycoming IO-540 engine, started in 2000 and the first flight was made on December 23, 2002. The Foxtrot 4 design, featuring a composite construction and a fixed tricycle type landing gear, is suited for engines in the 200-300 hp range.
By 2014 at least four had been produced, including the pictured N190KT, which has a Lycoming IO-540-C1B5 engine. It was completed in 2011 (from a kit by DFL Holdings/Team Tango) by Thomas M. Miller and the airworthiness date was July 15, 2011."
