03/31/2008. This homebuilt was constructed by K. Sedgwick, and although it was registered January 31, 1967, it flew for the first time in 1970. It is still at the register with a low average number of flying hours, ca. 12 annually.

The aircraft is carrying the markings of USN Bombing Squadron VB-2B, redesignated Fighter Squadron VF-6B in 1930, VF-3 in 1937, VF-3A in 1946 and is known as VF-31 since August 7, 1948, nicknamed "Tomcatters". The Felix the Cat insigne was designed late 1928 by Lieutenant Chourre of VB-2B and approved early 1929.
