04/30/2008. From "British Built Aircraft" by Ron Smith: “The single-seat Elf micro-light was designed and built by M. Ward at North Scarle, Lincolnshire and first flew at East Kirkby on April 7, 1984. The Elf had a span of 15 ft 10 in (4.83 m), and a length of 11 ft 10 in (3.61 m). A 600 cc Citroen car engine is fitted and the main wheels of the Elf are a pair of Spitfire tail wheels. The registration was cancelled on April 12, 1989. |
