10/31/2007. This replica was built by the Northern Aeroplane Workshops and represents N6290 of the RNAS, and is usually referred to as Dixie. The accuracy of the replica earned the decree of Sir Tom Sopwith that it should be considered as a “late production” example, hence the c/n 153. Fitted with an original 130 hp Clerget engine it was flown for the first time on April 10, 1992. |
