12/31/2007. Built by Hawker at Blackpool, UK, this aircraft was originally an F.Mk.4, delivered to the RAF on July 5, 1955. It was one of approximately 40 F.Mk.4s that were converted to GA.Mk.11 single-seat ground-attack trainers for the RN, this one being delivered the FAA on July 1, 1963. The aircraft was withdrawn from use in 1985, its remains were burnt at the NAS Coldrose fire dump. |
