Lockheed 183-92-02 F-104A Starfighter

Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced as an F-104A-25-LO under the USAF serial 56-826, this aircraft spent its last service days at the AFTC (Air Force Test Center) at Edwards AFB, California. On January 25, 1968, it was transferred to AMARC, coded FB014, on October 22, 1971 it had been sold to Allied Aircraft at Tucson, Arizona. By the mid-1980s it was in private hands and painted as 36-5019 of the Japanese Air Self Defense Force for film purposes. Presently the aircraft is preserved at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum at Tyler Pounds Regional Airport, Tyler, Texas."
