Remarks by Bernhard Klein: "Late 1941 an attempt was made to adapt the MiG-3 frame to take the 1,700 hp Shvetsov M-82A fourteen-cylinder air-cooled radial, issuing the provisional offical designation I-210 to it. The first of the 5 conversions flew for the first time in December 1941. Tests were not successful and type was not put into production. One of the five was used as development of the I-211." |
