The MCR-01 was in essence a composite construction development of the metal MC-100 of Michel Colomban. The first MCR-01 flew in July 1996 and had an 80 hp Rotax 912A engine. The MCR-01 became very popular among amateur constructors and several variants are available, the pictured F-PJEA was built in 2000."
