06/18/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was delivered to the MLD in the Netherlands East-Indies, s/n S-53. It was transferred to the RAAF on June 10, 1942, s/n A50-13. Struck off charge on March 23, 1945, it came on the civil registry as VH-AGS on February 27, 1946.

On May 25, 1954 it was deregistered and exported to New Zealand where it became ZK-BEM on September 14, 1955. It changed hands several times and on July 19, 1967, the registration was cancelled and the aircraft was stored for some thirty years. On November 19, 1998 the registration ZK-BEM was taken up again, after the aircraft had been restored and finished in the original MLD colors."
