01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was delivered to the US Navy in 1932 as the XF11C-1 fighter. The aircraft was underpowered and was redesignated as the XBFC-1 dive bomber when the new designation “BF” was established in March 1934. It was subsequently transferred to the NACA for engine cooling test work." |
