02/28/2008. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "The Gallaudet Aircraft Corporation had been founded in 1910 with a manufacturing plant in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The USAAS ordered three examples of the PW-4 which was an all-metal, single-seat pursuit. This was the only aircraft built and was ground tested in October 1922 but the company was in serious financial straights and could not afford to complete the tests and, as far as it is known, it never flew."
