05/31/2008. Remarks by Lars Opland: "This aircraft was produced for the USAF as an L-20A and was delivered with s/n 52-6105 on April 6, 1953. It was redesignated U-6A in 1962 and flew with the 21st Operations Squadron in Alaska. It came on the FAA Registry on October 20, 1970, as N5142G. Although registered to the Civil Air Patrol at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, it apparently it has been in Alaska all the time." | ||
