07/31/2014. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Production of this aircraft finalized on June 4, 1958 and the aircraft was shipped to the Tasmanian Aero Club, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.

Percival EP.9 (VH-TCA) takes off from beach (Ben Dannecker Collection)

Registered VH-TCA on October 10, 1958, the aircraft was used for medical flights with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, and for other utility services, like pictured above during a survey to find a site for an airport for the town of Strahan, Tasmania.

In August 1961 it was sold to Air Mist Pty. Ltd. of Launceston and converted for agricultural duties by Super Spread of Moorabbin, Victoria. On April 1, 1965 it was sold to Doggett Aviation & Engineering Co. Ltd., Jandakot, Western Australia, and reregistered VH-DAX. On April 7, 1968 the aircraft crashed at Juna Downs, Western Australia.
