Walter van Tilborg: "The F-3 was an original design single-seat homebuilt aircraft of René Féré and registered F-WYJF it was first flown on March 4, 1981 with a 40 hp VW1200 engine. After receiving its
CofA it was reregistered F-PYJF on May 27, 1981. The aircraft was built by the designer and was winner of the 1981
RSA Coupe Aviation Magazine. Plans for amateur construction of the F-3 were later marketed by the designer, but no further aircraft were built. The development of the F-4 model for heavier VW or VW-based engines such as Limbach, Hapi etc. was abandoned. The sole F-3 later joined the collection of the Musée Regionale de l`Air at Angers."
