Walter van Tilborg: "This two-seat homebuilt aircraft was an original design by Louis M. Hansen and the construction was started in 1970. The one-of-a-kind Hi-W (High Wing Monoplane) made the first flight on October 26, 1975 and had an 108 hp Lycoming O-235-C1 engine. The aircraft featured a mixed construction with a steel tube and Dacron fuselage, wood and glass fiber wings and tail section."
