It first flew on May 18, 1979, powered by a 75 hp Continental A75 engine. The mixed steel tube, wood and fabric construction aircraft sustained some wind damaged in February 1981, but it was rebuilt. The one-of-a-kind aircraft was deregistered on December 18, 2007."
