03/15/2007. This was one of two series 6000 built, it first flew on October 20, 1976 and was used as a demonstrator. In April 1978 it was converted to an F.28-4000, registered as EP-PBG it was operated by Iran Aseman Airlines between July 1980 and November 1981. It was restored on the Dutch register as PH-SIX till it was sold to Air Mauritanie in December 1983, registered as 5T-CLF. On July 1, 1994 the aircraft was lost in a crash landing at Tidjikja Airport, Mauritanie; only 13 passengers of the 89 passengers and 4 crew aboard survived the crash. |
