09/30/2007. This is the 70% scale prototype of a multi-purpose aircarft known as the Land Development Aircraft in the utility role and as the Light Defence Aircraft in the military role. It was flown for the first tiem on August 14, 1971, with the designer David Lockspeiser at the controls. The production version was intended as a passenger, freight or vehicle transport, as an agricultural, ambulance, survey or firefighting aircraft, light troop transport or battlefiled support aircraft.
