01/31/2008. This was the first of three VC-137A’s bought by the USAF
as VIP transports. Pictured in its delivery colour scheme, it was
later converted to a VC-137B with JT3D-3 turbofans. The aircraft was
operated by the 89th Air Wing at Andrews AFB, Maryland. In June 1996
it was flown to Seattle, Washington and is since preserved at the
Boeing Museum of Flight.
