Johan Visschedijk: "Ordered by the USAAC under serial 41-27616, the aircraft was accepted by the USAAF on July 9, 1942. Initially assigned to the 3030th Base Unit at Roswell Field, New Mexico, in November 1942 it was transferred to the 3009th Base Unit at Carlsbad Field, New Mexico. After WW II it was struck off charge and sold as surplus by the FC, and it came on the civil registry as N74R. Presently it is on permanent display at the Jimmy Doolittle Air & Space Museum museum."
