11/30/2010. Remarks by
Johan Visschedijk: "Design of this four-seat light aircraft, initially designated P-64 Fachiro III, was started in the autumn of 1963 and construction of the prototype began early in 1964. Registered I-LRAS, the prototype flew for the first time on April 2, 1965, and deliveries of production P.64 Oscars as it was then designated, began in the spring of 1966. Of all-metal construction the rear fuselage was covered with glass fiber panels, while it was powered by an 180 hp Lycoming O-360-A1A four-cylinder horizontally-opposed air-cooled engine."
