04/30/2009. Remarks by Ray Watkins: The HC-2 Heli-Baby had its first flight in 1953 and was the first helicopter of Czechoslovakian design to enter production. In 1960 the design was up-dated with a more powerful engine, simplified controls and components made from reinforced plastics. In that form it was known as the HC-102. 200 units were produced for the military, rescue and medivac duties."
